This retreat's theme is: Create and Explore! It's ALL part of the adventure!

We will be exploring Southern Utah, creating some beautiful art, doing some self reflection, a sound bath, and doing a number of creative projects! We will be doing three hikes in the Moab area. The first hike is Corona Arch where we will have lunch and do a plein air painting of the arch. Other hikes will be to Delicate Arch in Arches National Park and a hike to a small waterfall (location TBA). We will be hiking Delicate Arch in the evening and using headlamps as we hike back in the dark. Lynn Muir will be leading some gratitude journaling and self reflection workshops on our hikes. Watercolor classes will be lead by professional artists Melissa Esplin @melissapher and Bree Copley @watercolorsbybree and Lynn Muir. All our meals will be provided by baker and retreat chef Amanda Henneman @amanda.henneman Lynn Muir from @pocketfulofpaint will be leading the retreat, hikes, and other art projects. Other projects include step by step flower line drawing workshop, felt hat burning workshop, and abstract paintings with string. Everyone will receive a sweatshirt, leather bound art journal with art supplies, wood burning kit, and swag bags. Swag bags average in value around $400-$600. We will stay all together in a beautiful home nestled in Moab. There will be options for shared kings beds (great for traveling with a friend or family) and single beds. All rooms will be shared with other people. Ear plugs are included. :)

I would love for you to come! The hikes are moderate level. You will need to be able to hike up some steep hills and be okay with physical exertion. On some of the hikes there is some rock scrambling. You will need good hiking shoes with grip. Hiking poles are encouraged, but optional.
